Hello PW families!

Thank you SO much to those of you who were able to show up to our fundraiser! Thanks to a generous donation from Breeze Thru & the donations we collected- we were able to raise over $800 for our team! This will go toward paying for our team shirts and our end of the year celebration. We couldn't have done it without your help!

Looking at the week ahead of us....

• Monday 7/3- Regular Practice!
• Tuesday 7/4- Game Day! Swimmers will show up at their normal practice time for some games! There will be a mix of games in the pool and on land so athletes need to be dressed to both get in the pool and play a couple games out of the water as well! :)
• Wednesday 7/5- Regular Practice!
• Thursday 7/6- Regular Practice! Entries are due at 12 noon for the 7/8 meet at Bucking Horse!
• Friday 7/7- Regular Practice!
• Saturday 7/8- Meet at Bucking Horse (2240 Nancy Gray Ave., Fort Collins)! The meet will start at 8 AM, our warmup is from 6:50-7:10 AM. Swimmers need to be at the pool at 6:40 AM for warmup. We will have a team meeting at 7:45 AM. Any swimmers not at the meeting may be scratched from the meet- so please be there!

Introducing our final fundraiser for the year- the "Swimathon at Sunset"! This event is a fundraiser but even if athletes are unable to raise money- we still want them to participate. On July 11th- we will NOT have morning practice and instead will be serving pancakes to ALL swimmers from 8:30-9:30 AM! That evening swimmers will come to the pool after close for a 30 minute "swimathon". During their 30 minute slot they will be working to swim as many laps as possible! Athletes can help our team out by asking friends, family, & neighbors to donate to our team before the event! When swimmers are not in the water we are planning to put on a movie for them to enjoy! :) Please see the attached flyers that swimmers will receive and take home this week!
