Meet the Coaches
This will be Weston's second year coaching at Parkwood! He grew up in South Dakota where he swam competitively starting at age 8. He went on to swim Division I at South Dakota State University where he swam distance and the 400 IM, and then as a professional triathlete for 3 years. Weston has coaching experience ranging from swim lessons to several USA Swimming teams. Weston currently works as a mechanical engineer at Advanced Energy.
This will be Raewyn’s 1st year as an assistant coach at Parkwood! She got her start swimming here in beautiful Colorado on both club and summer teams in the Denver metro area since she was 7. She then later competed at Cherry Creek High School's Girls Swim & Dive for her high school career. Although she is no longer competing, she has experience in teaching swim lessons, lifeguarding, and coaching at various different pools and swim programs. She is currently a rising Junior in Biochemistry at CSU and is part of the CSU Army ROTC program, she also works in a reproduction lab through the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology department at CSU. 100 yd Butterfly is actually her favorite and best event!
