Hi!

I cannot thank you all enough for helping Peter, Molly, and I to put on an awesome meet. We asked for your help- and you delivered! I am so excited about the fast swims we saw today. I have attached the results below and will distribute ribbons on Monday at practice. I have opened entries for all remaining swim meets this year!

Monday 7/4- We will NOT be getting in the water for this practice! Instead we will be playing games in the field with each session. We ask that that kiddos wear clothes and shoes that they can move around/run in. Practice times will remain the same. Meet entries for Wednesday's (7/6) meet are due at noon.

Tuesday 7/5- Normal Practice

Wednesday 7/6- Meet at Centennial! No practice if you are not attending the meet. The pool address is 1932 Caddoa Drive Loveland, CO 80538. I will communicate warmup times and entries once I have those finalized. Please get entries in by noon on 7/4.

Thursday 7/7- Normal Practice! Entries for the 7/9 meet are due at 10 AM.

Friday 7/8- Normal Practice

Saturday 7/9- Meet at Bucking Horse! Warmup and entries will be emailed out!

CITY MEET- Please read!!

The 2022 City Meet will be hosted at Nelson Farm pool! This is by FAR my favorite meet of the year because swimmers from all teams come together to have competition for the best of the best! I also love this meet because swimmers tend to hit their best times at the end of the season!

This meet does have additional fees. Each athlete who enters has a $4 entry fee (this helps pay for our swim league to use Swimtopia) and $4 per event. So for example: if an athlete wants to swim 2 events at the city meet it would be $12 ($4 entry fee + $8 (4x2=8 for event fee))! Swimmers can choose up to 4 individual events at the city meet. Please pay this with cash or check (to Parkwood Swim Team)! Please indicate if your child is interested in relays! The team will pay for relays if we have enough swimmers to create relays in each age group.

Reminder that swimmers CANNOT participate in the city meet if they swam with a club team past May 15th. I highly encourage you to attend the city meet if you can- I would love for Parkwood to bring home the Division 3 trophy!

City Meet Entries are due on JULY 12th at 10 AM.
